THD offers immunizations administered by a registered nurse for children and adults traveling abroad. Our knowledgeable staff can provide recommendations on which immunizations to receive. Included in the cost of the immunization is the required “yellow book” certificate for documentation of travel immunizations. A Spanish-speaking interpreter is available.
Yellow Fever
THD is a Centers for Disease Control (CDC) certified Yellow Fever immunization provider. Expert consultation regarding pertinent information about the area of your destination is also included.
THD accepts most insurance plans. It is always advisable to check with your insurance provider for coverage specifics before receiving travel immunizations as you may be responsible for charges not covered by your insurance policy.
Please bring your insurance card and photo ID with you to your appointment. Payment is due at time of service. Cash, check or most major credit cards accepted. A consultation fee of $40 per family will be assessed.
Make sure you are up-to-date on all of your routine vaccines. Routine vaccinations protect you from infectious diseases such as measles that can spread quickly in groups of unvaccinated people. Many diseases prevented by routine vaccination are not common in the United States but are still common in other countries.
