Child Health and Guidance​

Start your little ones off on the right foot. First-time mothers can enroll in our Children First program which provides regular in-home visits by a registered nurse. THD also offers home based case management, developmental and hearing screenings as well as the WIC supplemental nutrition program.

Children First

Children First is a family-centered program that utilizes home based services by registered nurses (RNs) to help first-time mothers and their families prepare for parenthood.

Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is a supplemental nutrition program that serves to safeguard the health of income-eligible women, infants and children up to age five who are at nutritional risk.​

Healthy Start

Healthy Start provides free and confidential clinic triage and home visitation case management services for expecting and postpartum moms and their babies up to age two.

Behavioral Health

The science of child development shows that the foundation for sound mental health is built early in life.

Speech and Language
Child Guidance provides speech-language pathology services for children up to the age of 12.
Developmental Screenings
Developmental screenings for children can be an important first step in identifying possible development issues with your child.
Hearing Services
Hearing loss is one of the most common birth defects. It can be present at birth or develop later in childhood. Child Guidance provides audiology services for clients from birth to 21 years old.
