Barber Shops

Inset - Environmental -Permits -BarberLicenses and Inspections are Required by the State.

Barber shops are inspected and regulated under the Oklahoma State Department of Health Barber Regulations. Tulsa County has 130 licensed barbers which are inspected at least annually under contract with the Oklahoma State Department of Health. General sanitation is determined through the inspection of utensils and equipment and the proper use of sanitizers to prevent the spread of communicable diseases. General cleanliness of the shop and good personal hygiene of the personnel are inspected as well.
