Protecting our air and water as well as helping prevent illnesses and injuries are all part of THD’s mission to create a healthier community. That is why, in the name of public safety, THD helps regulate the burning of trees and brush waste as well as the removal of asbestos and gasoline station transport vapor recovery systems by issuing necessary permits and conducting inspections.
