TASSS

TASSS is the Tulsa Area Syndromic Surveillance System. TASSS uses emergency room data to monitor the main symptoms that patients present with. The objective of the system is to alert medical professionals to the possibility of a significant outbreak before large numbers of patients present with advanced disease. Some of the symptoms currently monitored include fever, rash, respiratory, diarrhea, and vomiting.
