Health Education Program
Spreading the Word for a Healthier Tomorrow

On-going education that introduces and reinforces healthy attitudes and behaviors strengthens all our efforts at THD. Our Health Education Program works with the media to spread the word about smart choices, and keeps our community informed about current health issues. In addition, we directly reach our youth through exciting and informative presentations in public schools and area juvenile agencies.

Inset - Community -SchoolThe THD Health Education Program also coordinates the THD’s drama, essay and poster contests and the "It's All About Kids" program. By encouraging young people to participate, we influence those who, in turn, will influence our community’s healthy future.
