Public Health - Prevent. Promote. Protect

REACH

(Raising Educational Awareness for Community Health)

A home and community-based outreach program of Tulsa Health Department, REACH staff find and help families in need of family planning, prenatal care or health services for children. A bilingual/Spanish speaking worker is also available.

Through educational home visits, REACH workers provide health promotion messages to include spacing births through access to family planning services, early entry into prenatal care and preventive well-child check-ups to include current immunizations for children.

Referrals are made for basic needs (food, utilities, clothing, and baby supplies) which help families be better equipped to address healthcare as a priority.

For more information about the REACH program, contact Kathy Kleine at 918-594-4766 or kkleine@tulsa-health.org.
